A super opportunity here for someone who would like a part time job.
9 -3pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays, but who is then happy to put some adhoc additional time in to monitor social media platforms from home to respond to customers.
This company offer a range of treatments to customers, with the majority of their business generated through recommendations or by their social media presence, Instagram in particular.
We are hoping you will embrace the reactive nature that any customer facing role presents these days, and although your 'out of office hours' are not precisely defined, if you are the kind of person who is naturally checking in with social media anyway, we hope you will be able to pick up adhoc customer messages and bookings that might come in and with the business interests at heart ensure that the customer is acknowledged and their enquiry dealt with at the next available business opening time.
We are trying to make the role flexible for you to avoid you 'having to be in the office more than necessary' but in return, we need a little flexibility from you too.
In return, the salary will be £12,000 for 18 hours a week in the office and some additional adhoc time you put in from home too.
Whilst in the office, which is based in Hitchin town centre, you can expect a varied day including:
- Dealing with email and phones enquiries, bookings and cancellations
- Checking in customers and verifying H&S information with them
- Taking payments
- Keeping the communal areas clean and Covid safe
- Responding to social media messages and comments (Facebook and Instagram)
- Administration of a private Instagram group.
- Planning and sending Mailchimp e-newsletters
From home the duties will include:
Replying to messages on social media and managing bookings via the booking software
Responding to any queries or cancellations that might arise.
This could be on a weekend or an evening and will be reactive as to the needs of the business. Occasional phone cover might be required to cover for holidays and sickness.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is confident working in a fast paced, customer facing environment, a good multitasker and with a real flair for great service and who cares about the business and its professional reputation.
