Tate are currently working with a leading energy provider, to recruit a Technical Administrator to join their Cardiff office ASAP.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, this role is currently remote. However, candidates should still be within a commutable distance from Cardiff, as you may be required to attend site to collect IT equipment and training. The role will eventually return to the office as restrictions continue to be lifted.
Gas Technical provide support to Business Energy by ensuring the billing system is operating accurately, updating service provider and networks systems, meter and service upgrades, AMR, in addition to managing Xoserve gas volume discrepancies.
As a Technical Administrator within this department, you'll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, network and meter operators and energy consultants, to deliver a first-class service for our client's customers. It is essential you have an eye for detail as you'll be responsible for analysing data sets, updating the billing system and informing the business of any changes affecting billing. You may be required to produce detailed analysis on actions taken to support the business in any cost recovery necessary.
Suitable candidates will be able to work on their own initiative, be inquisitive, decisive, and able to see tasks through to completion. Ideally you will have a background within utilities, though training can be provided, your communication and decision-making skills will be second to none.
Your Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role you will need to have either previous experience in a similar role or analytical role: customer services experience, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to lead, inspire and develop your team.
You will need to be commercially and competitor aware, have strong analytical skills, a methodical approach, good organisation skills, high professional standards and accuracy ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and meet compliance.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Word and Excel are required, and you will be expected to demonstrate a flexible approach in the workplace.
