Tate have teamed up with a leading British automotive company to recruit a team of talented customer service representatives to handle their insurance claims. Working from your own home as part of their busy, friendly and supportive call centre function, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and provide a first-time resolution for all calls. You will be required to return to the Tunbridge Wells office once a safe return is granted.
Team members make outbound calls to innocent parties after a traffic collision with one of our customers. With each new claim, you'll carry out investigations into liability and indemnity, using our wide range of suppliers you will arrange to service the innocent parties needs by dealing with their damage their vehicle and providing a replacement where required, minimising the inconvenience caused by the accident. Where a settlement is owed, you'll use valuation tools at your disposal to negotiate a settlement with the innocent party.
This temporary to permanent role starts on 24th May, working full time shifts, between the operating hours of 8am to 8pm (includes weekend working). A competitive salary of £9.74 per hour is offered as well as a performance related bonus, which is paid annually. Once a probation of between 3-6 months is successfully completed a permanent contract will be offered.
- Phone handling experience essential
- Previous background within insurance is desirable and advantageous but not essential
- Contact centre or customer service experience
- Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Desire to provide exceptional service
