Temporary Programme OfficerStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: earliest 31 May 21Pay: £12.50 per hourLocation: Work from homeThe Programme Officer will work with the Programme Team Manager and the Programme Managers in the relevant departments to support the operational delivery of programmes and teams including recruitment, programme management, finance, and project management and to implement successful delivery of assessments.Duties include:Maintaining constructive working relationships with several key internal and external stakeholders.Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Programme Team, including diary management, correspondence, meeting bookings, team event management, minute taking, analysing data and collating reports and information management.Working closely with Providers to improve systems and processes for gathering, providing, and monitoring information. This will include analysing the data across specialities.Taking responsibility for your own projects and work streams as directed by the Programme Manager and Programme Team Manager ensuring that deadlines are met.Planning and prioritising workloads.This role will require the post holder to work on their own initiative in a changing environment making decisions as appropriate.The post holder will be responsible for providing data and information to support performance monitoring including maintaining electronic databases.The post holder will deputise for the Programme Manager and support them at national, regional, and local events (virtually if required).
Essential:Demonstrable experience of managing and coordinating projects in complex and challenging environmentsAbility to pull together comprehensive draft reports, data, and letters, sourcing relevant information as requiredExperience of managing and reporting risksExperience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence up to and including at senior management levelKnowledge of Financial Systems e.g. monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement.Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processesExperience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholdersExperience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
