IT support Technician
Working in a small IT team, the IT technician is responsible for all IT and AV support and installation ensuring all users have the required equipment in full working order.
Day to day duties may include:
Providing telephone assistance and answering 1st line enquiries relating to IT and AV issues and support, ensuring all calls are logged in the appropriate way
Installation and set up of IT equipment to include projectors, screens and caballing
Support with hardware devices to include PC's, iPads, MacBook's, laptops, printers and photocopiers
Support with installation and configuration of printers liaising with external suppliers
Managing consumable requests and arrange for delivery to required location
Maintenance of IT and AV equipment, keeping equipment in good working order and ready to use
There may be some liaising with external suppliers regarding quotations and warranty requests
This will suit an individual with experience in a similar role which involved supporting staff with IT and AV queries and installations and experience using projectors. You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Google G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and Apple Computers.
You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines along with a flexible working attitude as due to the nature of this role there may be occasional weekend work.
This is a Fixed Term Contract until end of August 2021, salary £21,000 per annum
