Tate are working with a leading NHS organisation to appoint a 2nd Line Technical Support Advisor/ Desktop Support Engineer to their IT Helpdesk team in Bristol

This requires in depth technical skills and the successful candidate will need to of had some previous IT Experience. Our client runs a windows-based infrastructure. They will be utilised for hardware installations, site visits to various premises, Tackling more in-depth IT Issues. They will also be involved in building machines and working alongside the other higher level engineers as well as being an escalation point for the customer service advisors.

You will mainly provide on-site support for desktop technology incidents and changes and their supporting infrastructure in use throughout the Trust and ensure updates are provided to users and recorded in the Trusts Service Desk tool.

The key skills required for this role are

  • Good Communicator
  • Good Level of Microsoft Windows Based Infrastructure
  • Ability to mutli task and prioritise an ever changing workload
  • Be comfortable in a service desk role
  • Delivers great customer service
  • High attention to detail and strong administration skills

This role is working 37.5 hours a week within the Northern Hub in Bradley Stoke

This role is a fixed term contract initially for 6 months and an immediate start.
