An innovative business based in Hitchin is a looking for a Customer Support CoOrdinator who is keen to work within a company that exhibits a true family run culture/environment. The company has a very supportive policy with staff which is a testament to their loyalty and retention rates. The role will be to provide administrative and technical support for a busy Sales team. Ideally you will have a desire to learn and the capability to take on board technical data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Receive orders via telephone and email and assist with regards to prices, delivery and availability

. Provide technical support and discuss suitability of products

. Inputting and printing purchase orders and processing sales orders

. Chase outstanding purchase orders and advise on variations of delivery dates

. Liaise with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met

. Raise returns and issue credit notes

. Provide general administrative duties and undertake any task's requested by the Line Manager

We are looking for:

. Proven experience of working with a pressurised, high volume sales/customer service position

. Ability to deal with technical enquiries (training will be given)

. Experience of working with company processes

. A real problem solver who is proactive and takes ownership of the role

. Desire to progress and develop and keen for training

. Accuracy and attention to detail

. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

. Strong IT proficiency

In return you can expect a salary of up to £22,000 along with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will also be included in the Profit Related Incentive scheme and the Auto Enrolment Pensions scheme. Working hours will be 08.30-17.00 Monday-Friday.
