Director of Alumni and Development (Maternity Cover) position located in the City offering a salary of between £63,426 - £77,967 plus great benefits on a contract basis for 8 months.
The Alumni and Development team at LSBU has a new philanthropic vision it calls, "No Barriers to Brilliance." The goal, within the next three to five years, is to create an eco-system of giving that provides financial and non-financial support for the entire LSBU community. They're looking for a maternity cover for their Director of Alumni and Development over a period of eight months, commencing in January 2020. This role will continue the strategic and operational implementation of our new Fundraising and Philanthropy strategy
The successful candidate will be the key lead on culture and organisational change essential to achieve our philanthropic ambition, influencing key stakeholders and partners to ensure a culture of philanthropy is established and embedded across the LSBU Group. At the very heart of this culture is the development of a financial and non-financial ecosystem of giving, which measurably transforms lives, businesses and communities.
Experience / Knowledge
- Experience of leading alumni and supporter engagement programmes and advancement programmes
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity, and its practical application
