Training & Development Manager
6 month FTC - salary circa £35,000
A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Training & Development Manager to join a successful and established business in Potters Bar.
This is a new role within the business so it would suit someone who has experience writing job description, developing and writing training procedures and policies along with delivering training and induction courses.
Review current jobs within the team and write up accurate job and person specification
Job shadow to gain a full and detail understanding of each role and responsibilities
Design, develop and write up a training guide and manual for each key role to include guidance and direction on how to complete each day to day task, investigating compliance responsibilities, compliance risks to ensure the individual and business are protected
Conduct organisation training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Deliver new starter induction training and ongoing training to develop a competency and skill set
Communicate to the trainees about what is expected out of training in a simple and professional way
Communicate with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals
Keep up to date with legislation changes and ensure these are included in training manual
Experience and Attributes:
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
Extensive knowledge of training course design theory and implementation
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
MS Office proficiency
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills
