Are you looking for your first or second role within the job market? An innovative business based in Hitchin is a looking for a Production Administrator who is keen to work within a company that exhibits a true family run culture/environment. The company has a very supportive policy with staff which is a testament to their loyalty and retention rates. The role will initially require you to get through a large backlog of data entry paperwork and will then develop from there into a more administrative and collaborative role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, data and has a meticulous approach to their work.

Your responsibilities will be:

. Updating and utilising information on the relevant systems in relation to the job closing

. To create status reports in relation to the production process

. Printing and distributing instructions

. Matching job numbers to the relevant materials used and ensure it correlates correctly

. Removing data from the system

. To do ad-hoc administration duties as and when is required

What they need you to have:

. A Minimum of 1 year's administration experience within a manufacturing industry would be a distinct advantage

. A process driven and methodical way of thinking

. A Proven ability to utilise spreadsheets and databases to produce accurate data

. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on all levels

. Desire to work with numbers

. Good accuracy and attention to detail

In return you can expect a salary of £18,000 along with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will also be included in the Profit Related Incentive scheme and the Auto Enrolment Pensions scheme.

Working hours will be 08.30-17.00 (Monday-Thursday) 08.30-16.00 (Friday).
