Due to rural location, you must be a car driver
This will be a full-time office-based role
Mon - Fri - 37.5 hrs a week - flexible working hours

Our client based in Cranleigh is looking to recruit for a Finance Administrator to join a small knit friendly Finance team of 3.
Role Summary:
This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information relating to income, expenditure and cash management. It will involve an interesting and engaging variation of admin, accounting and financial task and that will help to contribute the smooth running of the day to day financial function.
Key Duties:
- Acting as first line response for all calls, queries and correspondence for the Finance Team
- Placing orders for and receiving deliveries of resources
- Maintaining accurate manual and computerised financial records
- Inputting invoices for both sales and purchase ledgers within Sage
- Processing staff expenses and petty cash payments
- Preparing banking and undertaking bank reconciliations
- Liaising with local authorities to request purchase orders
- Booking training, conferences, travel and accommodation
- Assisting with income collection for off-site trips and excursions
- Maintaining the register of leases, contracts, subscription and licence renewals
- Preparing BACS payment runs
Requirements:
- A levels or equivalent qualifications including GCSE English & Maths at grade C / 4 or above
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in a similar financial admin role using accounting systems such as SAGE
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to deliver quality work to agreed deadlines
- Able to demonstrate a high standard of IT knowledge and skills (including MS Office, Outlook and Intermediate Excel)
