Master Data Management CoordinatorMalmsebury, SN16Temp, 12 months (could go perm)Full Time£13 - £14 per hourTate have partnered with a large multinational technology company, to recruit a Master Data Management Coordinator, on a long term temporary basis, starting ASAP.Master data is a single source of basic business data used across multiple systems, applications, and/or processes. When master data is accurate, on time and complete it saves both time and money and facilitates better informed business decisions. High quality master data is a real asset to a business. Job Responsibilities Include:· Provide guidance and support, both internally and to the MDM service provider.· Build and maintain expertise in how master data flows across different business systems.· Write, maintain and publish global business MDM documentation, including training material as required.· Work with the MDM service provider to ensure master data problems and issues are effectively remedied in line with service level agreements. · Co-ordinate projects to implement the new and revised MDM processes.· Update MDM service provider team members on new and modified processes.· Actively participate in operational meetings.· Participate in design and testing activities.· Provide a professional, proactive and responsive service to internal customers.· Provide updates and training, where appropriate, to MDM requesters where new processes are introduced or existing ones changed.· Define, measure, analyse data quality metrics.· Identify opportunities to improve data quality metrics. · Participate in the design and delivery of business development and improvement projects.· Discuss potential improvements with GMDM management team with a view to implementing them and lead improvement activities wherever appropriate. Key Skills Required:· Experience in a similar MDM or systems role.· Proactive approach to developing and enhancing systems and processes.· Problem-solving skills.· A methodical approach with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.· Ability to think logically and analytically.· Ability to plan and organise activities to achieve challenging deadlines.· Highly self-motivated and able to work without close supervision. · Ability to deal with high levels of complexity, change and evolving processes, often at short notice.· Confidence to engage with individuals at different levels of the organisation.· Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to present information informatively and effectively to different audiences.· Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
