Our worldwide client based in Letchworth is looking for a full time Bookkeeper and Administrator to support the Regional Director and Company Accountant. You will be required to work with this multi-site company with multiple divisions so will therefore need at least 4 years bookkeeping experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step and take full autonomy in their role.
Your responsibilities will be:
. Preparation of payroll related journal entries
. Complete and accurate reconciliation of payroll related nominal ledger accounts
. Preparing Inter-company invoicing
. Time-sheet reconciliation
. Identifying areas of improvement and cost saving
. Sales Invoicing
. Data entry
. Stock and inventory accounting
. Assisting with company audits
Essential skills for the role:
. Experience with Sage 50
. Highly detailed and accuracy orientated
. Good understanding of company accounting at AAT level 3 Book-keeping & Accounting
. A Payroll qualification
. Valid passport (occasional travel to Canada)
. Experience of AX for accounting & stock is desirable but not essential
. Pro-active and organised
. Excellent communicator who works well with others
