Online Trading AssistantVictoria, London, SW1ETemporary (1-2 months initially)Full Time, Monday to Friday£12 per hourJob Purpose:Facilitates and executes the briefing of supplier funded content on the online platform, overseeing the approval and activation of on-site media to support the Online Trade team. Work closely with Buying, Web Design and Content teams to ensure all content is of a high standard and abides to relevant guidelines. Responsibilities:· Work closely with the buying team, to ensure they submit their briefing forms completely and on-time and that all required assets are provided.· Become established as the point of contact for any briefing or on-site content queries from the buying team, encouraging productivity by enforcing the use of the Briefing Feedback document.· Inspect the submitted briefing forms to ensure they will make sense on-site in terms of the customer journey, and challenge submissions where necessary.· Escalate queries to relevant Online Merchandiser/Snr. Online Merchandiser where the process or decision is unclear in order to reach a swift solution.· Transfer the information from submitted forms from buying into briefs for the Web Design & Content team before the deadline each week.· Accurately complete the briefs, clearly directing where on site the content will be applied and supplying the correct destination URLs, media assets, live dates, tracking links and other information.· Acquire approval from relevant online trade team members if a fast-track brief is required.· Once content has been created, manage the review and approval process, sharing with buying teams so that they can obtain approval from external brands where necessary.· Check created content is of a high standard and follows the brief, paying particular attention to ensuring any links go through to the correct destinations, the copy is relevant, and any images are optimally displayed.· Once content is approved with all required stakeholders, either instruct to be pushed live or apply to the site using Endeca content management tool (dependent on type of content).· Double-check content post go-live to ensure links and tracking are correct.· Build and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders in Online Trade, Buying, Web Design and Content.Experience required:Essential:· Confident with using the Google suite of applications: Drive and Sheets in particular.· Good communication & organisational skills.· Strong attention to detail.· Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at once.Desirable:· Background in a buying & merchandising or online merchandising role.
