Import Coordinator - Key Accounts
About our Client:
Our client is a UK based supply chain, freight forwarding and logistics brand and are theUKs predominant international supply chain partner to the retail and consumer goods industries.
Purpose of the Role:
As an Import coordinator within the Key Accounts team you are responsible for arranging shipments, preparing and confirming order approval, handling pricing information, and releasing invoices as you would in a normative Import Coordinator role. Within the Key Accounts team you will have autonomy to help improve processes, work more meticulously with the supply chain and have more client contact.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Deal with all freight orders
Receive and deal with any/all pre alerts for orders
Deal with the financials and costings of those freight orders
Work closely with the transport teams on logistical updates
Keep up to date with incoming flights, departures and delivery statuses
Deliver a high level of service to clients and customers
Be open to new training and learning other aspects of the business
Deal with basic Q&A from internal stakeholders
Deal with basic Q&A from client stakeholders
Escalate any issues that may impact client SLAs
Awareness of KPI measurements
