Are you a client focused, sales driven and professional Business Development Manager? My client is an award winning Business Travel Company and they are looking for a talented member to join their team on a field and office based role. To be considered, you must have strong, proven sales background, worked in the travel sector ideally corporate travel and a self-motivated attitude.
What are you waiting for? Key duties:
*Generating and following up sales leads. *A 360 service from first call to meetings, presentation, and demonstrating of services and technology. Followed by negotiating of contracts, formal bids and winning of account. *Provide market research and feedback from the current market *Work closely with the sales teams on business strategies to maximise growth and profit *Keep up to date with client and market needs to ensure success in delivering the services and expectations. *Achieve sales targets. *Manage own workload and ownership of territory, forecast reports and convert pipeline and leads into contracts. You: *Will need to be a strong relationship builder. *Strategy and sales minded. *Ability to work well independently and part of a team. *Travel industry experience in corporate travel sector or a strong understanding from related travel sectors e.g. airlines. *Ability to present and deliver propositions tailored to different businesses. *Minimum 4 years of sales experience. *Proven sales ability *Strong knowledge in travel technology, traveller safety platforms and booking tools. *Must have own vehicle and a situation to be able to take business trips /overnights. The package: You will be rewarded with a fantastic basic salary (around £30k) commission.
