An Office Administrator role has become available for my client in the City. My client is a firm of professional probate genealogists that provide a comprehensive range of support services to those dealing with Estate Administration, from Solicitors, Banks, Corporate and State Trustees through to charities, professional administrators and executors.This role is reporting into the Office Manager and the hours are 9am-5pm.

Job purposeThe purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the London office.

Main duties and Responsibilities

-To assist the Office Manager in office maintenance and building management, Health & Safety, ISO14001 implementation and audit preparation, scheduling team lunches-To assist the Admin team with furniture orders -To assist the Admin team with office equipment orders and arranging servicing visits-To assist the Receptionist with courier and transport bookings-To assist the Accounts team with enquiries regarding department specific expenses-To supervise the Junior Office Administrator on his/her daily duties-To undertake training and development as specified by the Office Manager-Any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Office Manager, internal staff or Senior Management

Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience

-Previous experience working in an office environment in an admin role-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Ability to cope under pressure, work on own initiative and organise own workload -Problem solving skills and the ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands-Strong MS Office skills-Attention to detail-Reliable, Flexible and adaptable-Contribute to the effectiveness of the team
