Health & Safety Manager

My valued client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Health and Safety Manager to join their successful team at an exciting period of growth and development.

Working closely with the Compliance Manager you will be focused on ensuring and promoting Health and Safety within an industrial setting. Experience gained in a waste/recycling environment would be hugely beneficial but not essential. Managing ISO18001 and the transition to 45001, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance across a range of sites, reviewing policies and procedures and adhering to all legislative requirements. You will carry out site audits, monitor RIDDOR reports and deliver training at all levels within the team.

This role will best suit a motivated Health and Safety focused professional with NEBOSH qualifications.

Additional skills required:

ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and H&S Legislation

Exceptional IT (MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint) and strong communication skills

3 years + continuous employment in similar H&S role

Full UK driving license

Knowledge of Waste Legislation and dealing with governing bodies i.e The HSE is desirable
