Are you an Insolvency Manager?

If so then please read on, we are working with an international firm in central Manchester and due to growth we are looking for some exciting new team members.

Job Description Summary:

As the Case Management Unit (CMU) Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for a varied caseload reporting to managers, associate directors and partners within CMU and other regional offices. You will oversee, train and support other members of the team, ensuring that work is delegated, monitored and completed timely.

What you'll be doing:

You'll oversee the completion of statutory requirements for new Insolvency appointments specifically Administrations, CVLs and Receivership's

You'll liaise with delivery teams to ensure each case is compliant

You'll conduct a final asset realisation following handover of the case from the delivery team, including property sales, freehold sales, recovery of director loan accounts etc.

You'll liaise with solicitors and property agents

You'll oversee the creditor claim agreement process

You'll dividend audit and distributions

You'll prepare estimated outcome statements and draft bank/stakeholder reports

You'll review and finalise reports to creditors

You'll prepare cost estimates and remuneration requests

You'll assist with decision procedures and deemed consent approvals

You'll manage general case progression

You'll monitoring IPS diary lines

You'll arranging weekly team meetings to monitor workloads

You'll manage case closures

Who we're looking for:

You'll have a good understanding of new Insolvency Rules and IPS

You'll be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines

You'll be able to fully support, train and mentor other team members

You'll have at least 5 years Insolvency experience

You'll have a CPI qualification, which is preferred but not essential
