Tate Recruitment Agency are working in partnership with South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust and are seeking to recruit 999/111 Emergency Call Handlers to work in their busy call centre based in Otterbourne on a temporary to permanent basis. The main duties of the role include:
- Receiving and prioritising emergency, urgent and routine calls from members of the public and healthcare professionals.
- Providing all callers with pre-arrival instructions including choking procedures and treatment of unconscious patients.
- Liaising with police, fire service and ambulance personnel to ensure the safety of staff and members of the public.
South Central Ambulance Service offer both full-time and part-time positions, working on a 24 hour rolling rota. In order to apply you must be an excellent communicator, work well under pressure and be comfortable with multi-tasking.
