Demand Planner

Our client an established and reputable company in the local area that has some of the best brands in their industry are currently looking to recruit an experienced Demand Planner to join their team. This is a key position within the business with a responsibility to gather and maintain sales forecasts for their products ranges across a multi-channel sales structure.

Role: Demand Planner Location: Hedge End Salary Sought: c£20-22,000pa

Responsibilities will include:

· Working with senior management and other heads of function to facilitate the Demand Review as part of the Integrated Business Planning Process by gathering inputs, critiquing data, modelling scenarios and developing options in the delivery a robust schedule of customer demand.· Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels using the forecasting system.· Reviewing historical sales trends, research demand drivers, preparing forecast data and evaluating forecast results.· Interacting with sales, marketing and product management teams to understand demand forecast drivers.· Maintain product data within the ERP system to ensure correct analysis at all times.You will need: · A minimum 3 years experience in a similar environment· Excellent MS Office Skills with particular emphasis on Excel to an advanced level· Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail· Excellent communication skills, written and oral· A strong working knowledge of ERP forecasting systems, SAP would be an advantage.· CIPS Level 4 or similar Supply Chain qualification/s would be an advantage· Excellent communicator, focused on building and maintaining strong working relationships across the business· The ability to work to and meet deadlines · Proven ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision· An enthusiastic, proactive approach to work, with a positive "can do" attitude, capable of delivering results within tight deadlinesThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing and dynamic organisation in a key Supply Chain role.
