Demand Planner - located on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead.This client has a passion for wellness and educating and inspiring people to be healthier. A USA based company who is a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of premium and value priced nutritional supplements throughout the world.As an International Demand Planner, you would be required to:· Analyse trends over a set period for key customer accounts· Compare and analyse customer trends which would impact demand· Analyse financials and identify gaps and areas of improvement· By communicating with internal departments, validate and establish realistic forecasts· Identify and resolve gaps in internal processes, forecast errors and model design· Use data to analyse buying patterns and predict future sales via promotions· With analytics, support the business in understanding volume forecasts and performance· Work closely with Supply Chain and Inventory Management to ensure outstanding, consistent service levels· Territory based forecast accuracy· Up to date analysis of order patterns and keeping the forecast up to date· Administration duties which include but are not limited to: following up on missing/ late orders, lead time violation feedback, root cause analysis, providing data to internal teams for forecast accuracy, internal meetings to disseminate data analysis· Continually striving to improve internal processes· Foster beneficial working relationships internally· Providing feedback to management with regards to reports· Provide occasional cover for holiday and sick for colleaguesThe perfect candidate should have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills who has a keen eye for detail, and can multi task numerous projects. Confidence in facilitating, presenting ideas and answering questions. Strong analytical, and problem solving skills whilst being highly organised and high degree of numeracy and data manipulation. Working knowledge of demand planning software preferred.Team player but must also be able to work independently and be a self-starter and motivator. Proven proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
