The role

To work alongside the Recruitment/HR team to facilitate the full recruitment cycle and employee relations administration for both the UK Head Office and Overseas. To have complete ownership of all compliance for new starters and annual checks including DBS', references, contractual paperwork and following overseas processes.


  • To be responsible for all areas of compliance including References, DBS' and overseas checks
  • To write job adverts, posting on-line, collating and screening applications, arranging interviews and providing advice and guidance as and when required
  • To create a strong rapport with all candidates so that their experience is positive, irrelevant of the result of their application
  • To conduct interviews for overseas roles either face to face or using Skype
  • To actively speak to potential candidates over the phone to discuss current vacancies
  • To book venues for recruitment events, preparing materials, inviting candidates, organising pre and post event meetings where necessary and recording of all documents on BambooHR and other necessary formats
  • To help give training to UK and overseas employees
  • To give presentations and facilitating activities in our recruitment events
  • To be involved in Payroll and Benefits processes
  • To understand the business policies and procedures and update/ advise on them when necessary
  • To build and maintain professional relationships with all candidates, to encourage high rates of return of full and peak season employees' year on year
  • To maintain social media profiles, raising brand awareness in line with recruitment and ensuring that the recruitment function is active and accessible to all to encourage applications
  • Keeping abreast of competitor recruitment strategies and campaigns
  • To complete general administration duties such as, dealing with incoming/outgoing post, filing, data input, photocopying, scanning etc
  • To work closely with the HR administrator and Recruitment Manager to ensure all necessary paperwork and checks are carried out
  • To prepare and issue offer letters, contracts of employment and secondments
  • To manage the recruitment email inbox
  • To chase outstanding paperwork of oversea and UK employees

Expected Skills and Behaviours

  • Previous experience in Recruitment or HR
  • Experience of drafting documentation, accurate data entry and implementing new procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast moving, creative and flexible work environment
  • Adaptable and positive team work ethic
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel skills
  • Efficient time management & organisational skills
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy in data input
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Aspiration to develop professionally within recruitment and HR preferred
  • Proactive approach and ability to use initiative
