Our client, based in Nottingham City Centre, are looking for a passionate Finance Administrator to join their amazing Law firm. This is such a great opportunity to join a highly reputable company and progress to for fill your maximum potential. This role is on a permanent and Full time basis. About the Organisation:You will be working for a nation law firm who specialise across the commercial, public, health and insurance sectors with offices across the UK. You will be joining their Finance department to be responsible for the administrative functions within the team, allowing the whole team to work efficiently and effectively, and continuing to offer excellent client serviceAbout the Job:· Your main responsibilities within this role will include:· Work under direction from the Client Services Supervisors· Gather appropriate signatures for the twice daily payment run· Assist in the daily bank run· Assist in the matching of expense receipts to expense claim forms· Assist in reconciling accounts payable information to invoices· Assist in the monthly production and distribution of client statements· Compile client copy invoices and send out to clients· Maintain schedules of levels of work carried out· Open the teams daily post and deal with appropriately· Maintain and deal with the team joint e-mail correspondence· Assist in the production, distribution and logging of credit control chase letters· Assist in team filing and scanning· Provide other finance department duties as may be requiredAbout you:You must hold a range of Technical skills such as:· Must be IT literate and have good keyboard skills - experience of Excel and Word is essential· Must possess a good telephone manner· Must be able to conduct themselves appropriately in an open plan office environment· Must be methodical and accurate and have attention to detail· Previous experience of working within a finance department desirableYou will be expected to be familiar and compliant with the full range of regulatory policies and procedures. You will also be required to undertake mandatory compliance training as requiredThey ask that as part of the Finance team you possess a can-do attitude and are able to pick up new processes quickly and efficiently. Having a positive team attitude is essential to work well with your team. The finance department is often a lively and pressurised environment so you should be able to respond to this positively as and when appropriate. You also must have the ability to adhere to deadlinesRewards: You will be rewarded with a healthy salary of £16,000. You will receive income protection, life assurance, pension and an employee assistance programme as standard with the opportunity to progress into a more senior role after 12 months in this position as standard.
