Our client is a local school looking for someone highly organised to coordinate their daily transport needs (school bus, transport for trips and visits, oversee school minibus bookings and manage transport requirements for sports activities). The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and problem solver, calm and logical approach to tasks with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in addition to being well-presented due to this being based front of houseThe successful person will need to be available outside of normal hours (deal with drivers/chaperones who may be off sick or running late) well dressed as front of house based, available to attend all Inset and Open days which includes some SaturdaysThis is a term time only position (plus 2 floating weeks) to start no later than September 2018 - hours of work 9.30am to 6.30pmTate's client offers a convenient location with parking, contributory pension, healthcare plan (after completing probation), regular training and free lunch daily. Salary is £20,000 (equivalent to £25k for full time), hours of work 9.30am to 6.30pmThe role is to manage daily school bus pick-ups, liaise with local coach companies to book transport for trips and visits, oversee school minibus bookings and manage transport requirements for sports activities. Main duties:- Manage school bus pick-ups (central point of contact, liaise with parents, send email communications regarding service)- Line management of chaperones- Arrange transport for trips, visits and sports events- Manage bookings for school minibus and keep records updated- Administer taxi account (bookings, costs, invoice payment)- Attend meetings as required- General admin around booking forms, bus registers, medical formsSkills & Experience required for role:- Excellent level of English and Maths- Good IT skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)- Experience of working in a regulated environment requiring high levels of confidentiality- Highly organised, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail- Flexible and proactive approach, able to cope with changing priorities- Outgoing, friendly, confident and approachable personality- Previous experience of managing staff- Well-presented due to being based front of houseTo apply for this position please submit your CV in MS-WORD format
