A Junior HR Advisor position within a leading architectural practice has become available. The job purpose is primarily to provide an efficient HR service to the London office, offering support to other locations as required. Supporting the HR Manager to ensure all resourcing requirements, and reporting needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner. You will also act as point of contact for London office, providing advice and guidance on all HR related topics and in particular to line managers. You will also keep abreast of legal timetables ensuring all policies and procedures are in line with legislation and best practice. The salary is £30,000

Resourcing and Recruitment, including:-Responsible for the management of resources to facilitate movements within teams or to ascertain any recruitment requirements-Maintain control of the weekly Resource Chart report ensuring accuracy-Assist managers in the planning and/or redesign of job roles or functions-Advise on cost-effective recruitment methods-Managing recruitment campaigns (including negotiating rates with suppliers)Payroll and Pension, including: -Support the HR Coordinator to prepare monthly payroll spread sheet and input data/ update changes on Trace payroll in a timely manner by checking everything is recorded. Performance Management/Training and Development, including: -Co-ordinate the mentoring scheme for the London office, monitoring its progress to ensure continued improvementHR Advice and Guidance, including: -Provide specialist support on any HR queries from employees and managersOther -Be able to respond confidently in HR Managers absence to any people related issue-Be proactive in researching HR topics and engaging in discussion and development of the HR support function-To ensure that all work undertaken complies with the requirements laid down in the Company Manual, including quality assurance, environmental management and Health and Safety.Key Skills and Experience-Educated to degree level, or equivalent-Experience of working in a HR Advisory capacity with a resourcing/recruitment focus-Demonstrable experience of coaching managers-Experience of working with HR Information systems-Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail-Good negotiating skills-Highly organised with the ability to multi task
