Whats the purpose of the role?To Apply robust Credit Risk Management systems and to work with the Credit Analyst Responsbilities:-

Our client is seeking an individual with experience in the following areas:-

Manage the Credit Analyst and keep in contact with the Credit Control teams Work with the Credit Insurance Underwriters & Brokers, to ensure sufficient cover Check Credit Risk Information and source additional financial information from existing/potential customers where needed Support the Credit Control Manager Credit Management decisions. Viewing daily updates on Credit limit and Credit Rating changes. Notifying all relevant colleague of any decreases in credit cover. Applying for new or increased Credit Insurance Regular communication with non finance colleagues - explain the reasons behind credit decisions Daily monitoring and reporting of the SAP exception report to relevant Managers. Authorising overdue customers who have blocked credit orders in the absence of the Credit Collections Manager if appropriate support can be made for the release of the account Review year- end customer financial accounts for credit limits Reviewing all customers who fall into default Responsible for the Credit Control Dept. Month & Year End reporting, Continuously reviewing our processes and procedures, with the Credit Control Manager, Credit Collections Manager & the Credit Collections Supervisor, ensuring practices are to the appropriate levels of responsibility internally and externally. Previous Experience Exceptional Credit Management experience needed Risk Management experience in a very busy environment SAP experience Competent user of Microsoft packages Confident in handling potential difficult situations and calm under pressure. Analytical with excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management, multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines set. Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
