We are working with a market leading company, operating in the OEM, automotive, engineering and technical industry sectors. This globally successful business, based in Exeter is looking for a sales driven individual with at least 4 years experience in an OEM Key Account Management role, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment.Your role as a Business Development Manager would be to identify, convert and manage new sales opportunities, whilst maximising existing business. You will have a proven background in winning high revenue accounts and have both the tenacity and commercial awareness to prove effective in existing and new markets. Working both as part of a team and alone, you must be an efficient multi-tasker with the ability to manager several key accounts at the same time.Your role will be to recognise, develop and manage both new and exisiting business opportunities, maximising all leads and ensure profitable growth.Required Qualities:Strong experience/understanding of the full sales operationMotivated to over-exceed sales targetsBusiness acumenResilience and tenacityConfident consultative approach with clients and customersThe ability to build strong relationships with customers and understand their individual requirementsExceptional negotiation, presentation and influencing skillsThis opportunity will involve travel, a full driving licence is essential.
