Our client, a well-established leader within their field are looking to expand their HR team by offering somebody a 6 month fixed term contract. There is of course the possibility that this might lead to a permanent position within the business for the right candidate.
Your duties will include:
- Assist and support the HR Services team to achieve the objectives of the Group's HR, recruitment and payroll functions ensuring compliance with all Group policies, procedures and HMRC legislation and regulation.
Maintain accurate records of temporary and permanent vacancies and administer the groups' internal recruiting computer system.
Booking rooms for interview, scheduling interviews and sending correspondence to internal and external contacts.
Produce and issue appropriate contractual documentation in relation to appointments, terminations, maternity/paternity/adoption etc and contract variations in line with HR Policies and procedures.
Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice. Share knowledge within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.
Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system.
Ensure duty of care of all HR information and in particular with reference to the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act
Undertake specialist ad hoc project work as required.
Provide general administrative support to the team.
You will have:
Experience of working in a service driven environment
Proven successful experience of general administrative duties
Experience of accurately inputting data into a system.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to complete routine tasks in a methodical way
Intermediate to advanced IT skills using MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
Able to work as part of a team
Able to deal with a diverse range of people with tact and diplomacy
Able to recognise priorities and deal with them accordingly
Good oral and written communication skills
Good numeric skills
