A fantastic opportunity has arisen on a 6 month contract basis for an extremely knowledgeable, diligent and commercially-minded professional with significant and demonstrable GDPR experience to support and leading, innovative, forward thinking technology based firm in Central London. Your role as a Compliance Manager will be a pivot part of the business driving change and being responsible for the GDPR implementation from start to finish.You will have proven experience in GDPR and understand data mapping, process change, and all compliance and risk fundamentals. You will be the GDPR and Compliance expert in the business, educating all senior stakeholders and providing project plans and management processes.With the ever-changing nature of compliance rules and regulations, my client is looking for someone who is able to quickly understand and implement adjustments in policy and implement the new GDPR changes soon to follow. As part of this it will be essential to have great communication and interpersonal skills to enforce compliance diplomatically within the company and be the leader.Responsibilities:- Implement all upcoming GDPR changes and policies to the business - Educate the teams, leaders and all stakeholders on Compliance and GDPR- Action on advice received from third parties and regulatory agencies in relation to GDPR and information sharing acting as project manager for internal parties involved- Design and manage the ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of compliance legislation and standards for the organisation- Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities- Reviews and evaluates results of internal and external audits and advises organisation on appropriate actions to be taken- Identify and discuss emerging compliance issues with managers or employees- Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness- Select, train and develop staff to ensure compliance across the group and the efficient operation of the function- Direct the development or implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the company - Assess compliance risks and develop risk management strategies Requirements & Qualifications - GDPR understanding and implementation experience -Over 5 years Compliance experience

- ICA or ACAMS Qualification OR IAPP - Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, using your own initiative to plan and organise your own workload- Recent experience managing confidential information and data combined with up to date knowledge in We are looking for a hands-on person who is very approachable, resourceful and truly understands the importance of the compliance function within company. In return, my client will offer an attractive dally rate of up to £250 per day on a 6 month contract as well as the privilege of leading a Compliance department, within an excelling environment.
