Facilities Assistant/ Office Coordinator
My client a leading communications consultancy, servicing financial and corporate clients are seeking a new facilities/office coordinator to support them in their London Office. As the facilities administrator you will ensure the working environment in the office is maintained to the highest possible standard. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, must be organised and able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. To be considered for this role, you must be able to commit to the 7.30am - 4pm working hours. Key duties will include but not be limited to:
· Opening and situating yourself on the reception desk until 9am when the receptionist comes in · Covering the reception desk over lunch time · Assist in setting up meeting rooms and ensuring all equipment is available and set up for scheduled meetings · Managing meeting room requests and the diary · Accept courier deliveries and notify the facilities/staff accordingly · Ensuring post is sorted and distributed to appropriate staff members promptly · Ensuring outgoing post is prepared in a timely manner · Ensuring consumables such as Milk/Tea/Coffee are received and stocked up each morning · Ensure newspapers are on the floor by 8am each morning · Responding to email queries/requests in a timely manner · Responsible for keeping copiers, printers, kitchen running smoothly · Responsible for the archiving systems · Monitoring stock levels in the stationary cupboard, paper stocked up for copiers and printers, cleaning goods
