Creative Writer Full time, Permanent £25,000 - £27,000 per annumSouth Nottingham Our client is an award winning, charismatic and highly-motivated leading supplier of industrial products, who are looking for a dynamic, positive and hard-working Creative Writer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for developing and creating digital media, writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides white papers etc). Duties will include, but not limited to:- - Building a following for brand on social media with creative work- Sole responsibility for updating of social media sites and creating literature- Copywriting for websites- Interviewing sources- Regularly checking website for errors and improvements- Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy- Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with departments for new ideas and strategies- Researching markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original- Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, etc.)- Researching and organising facts and sources- Collaborating with department managers, external web team and MD- Create and help organise event literature for internal office events- Represent company at external events- Liaise with external agencies, charities and enquire on sponsorship opportunities- Attend award events- Researching and writing all award entriesOur client requests you to have the following characteristics/requirements:-- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones- Impeccable spelling and grammar- A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online- Great research, organisational, and learning skills- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)- Self-motivated and self-directed- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently - Creative and innovative thinker and planner - Confident in producing work across multiple platforms - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - BS degree in English, or related field- An understanding of formatting articles on the web- Excellent grasp of English language - Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team - Strict adherence to company policies and style - Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management - Extensive knowledge of the company, brand and product preferred- Great problem solving skills and positive attitudeWe are keen to interview people as soon as possible, please do not hesitate to contact Tate Nottingham for more details or apply directly on the link below.
