Talent Manager Manchester TATE | DIGITAL Tate are launching a unique, new concept in digital marketing supporting external companies in the new-technology arena (with) combining talent acquisition through our own online digital platform. To launch and develop our new division we are looking for a Talent Manager to join our team focusing on bringing a range of candidates with marketing experience to work with us.

Tate are a market leader in specialist Office recruitment, trading since 1985 and a part of the UK's 2nd largest staffing company, Impellam, so we like to think we know a little about staffing, talent and recruitment.

We are a team of talented and driven people looking for someone to help us on our journey.

You will create and implement our hiring strategy to develop talent pools of over 300 marketing professionals within the next 12 months alone.

You will have full ownership of the talent acquisition life cycle, from (supporting with) marketing, candidate sourcing (anything from live events to online), to on-boarding and all areas and everything else in-between.

You will also work to implement the Tate Digital brand as a new function, helping us to becoming the go-to company for candidates looking for their next opportunity within digital marketing in the Manchester market.


Owning the talent acquisition process. Starting from sourcing, managing the interview process to offer negotiation and on-boarding ensuring a high quality experience throughout

Developing a talent pool of digital marketing candidates and assessing suitability and quality ready to be utilised by our clients.

Develop an understanding of digital marketing roles and technical skill-sets required, meeting with marketing professionals, external Hiring Managers to understand market needs

Managing your own workload and time · Developing a professional network within marketing to feed your talent pipeline from specific groups to higher education such as Universities and Colleges.

Attending marketing professional events in order to increase brand awareness

Help to create job specifications for a variety of roles ensuring they are attractive to their target audience

Manage the talent pool database, through a range of contact methods and create new strategies (methods) to add value

Source active and passive candidates on a volume basis through all viable channels (e.g. employee referrals, networking, internal databases, internet searches, job boards)

Organise and run internal or external recruiting events

Define our talent acquisition strategy together with Partnership Management Specialist and Digital Director


Expert sourcing abilities - know exactly where to find the most sought after candidates with marketing experience and what tools to use

Creative - bring new ideas on how to source the best talent, how do we increase our brand and market awareness?

A background in marketing / digital marketing and recruitment - understand the various levels of roles and what roles are trending in recruitment market

Analytical skills - you will be able to gather information, develop trends and keeping one step of ahead of the market · Great interviewing ability through face to face or online

Ensure that not only do have talented people but people with the right attitude

Be able to work flexibility from in terms of time and location from our central Manchester offices, to at client events and from home if needed.

The ability to manage a range of tasks at once, working to deadlines and under pressure

Excellent rapport and relationship building skills.

You'll need to build strong, lasting relationships quickly and be able to converse with technical and non-technical people alike

Strategic thinker. Not only will you be responsible for the day to day talent acquisition process but you will also need the ability to think long term to plan the hiring strategy

Brilliant stakeholder management. You'll need to work with a range of internal teams with competing priorities, be able to say no and set realistic expectations on time lines

Experience working in a fast-paced start-up (preferably in digital marketing and recruitment) hiring for a variety of external recruitment

Sociable, ambitious and a good sense of humour
