Experienced Competitor Analyst £25,000 per annumSouth Nottingham Our client is an award winning, charismatic and highly-motivated leading supplier of industrial products, who are looking for a dynamic, analytical and hard-working Competitor Analyst to join their growing team. You will be responsible for gathering information on competitors and their products, creating reports/presentations, collecting data and providing market research.

Duties will include, but not limited to:- - Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis- Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases- Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct- Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations - Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices - Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it - Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers preferences - Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place, and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations- Provide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operationOur client requests you to have the following characteristics/requirements:-- Proven market research analysis experience - Strong communication and presentation skills - Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen- Familiarity with CRM programs - Proficient in MS Excel- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and multi-task - BS degree in Statistics, Business or related field - Strong analytical skills - Critical thinking - Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (pools, focus groups, surveys etc) We are keen to interview people as soon as possible, please do not hesitate to contact Tate Nottingham for more details or apply directly on the link below.
