Role: Purchasing Administrator / Studio Administrator
Based in: Oval
Pay range: £24-25k
Working hours 9.30am - 6pm

My Client, a manufacturer of original, high quality and innovative interior products, are looking to recruit a Studio Coordinator/ Purchasing Administrator to support their expansion following their success and growth.
This is a great company with a lovely team of friendly and approachable people where your contribution will really be recognised and rewarded.Key duties:- Purchasing & Order processing- Raising Purchase Orders and issuing them to suppliers - for both reorders of stock items, and for bespoke items (from sales orders)- Maintaining inventory & stock spreadsheets- Updating live order spreadsheets - Liaising with suppliers on delivery dates- Working with Production Manager to track status of orders- Liaising with design team where drawings needed for items to be purchased- Working with Studio Manager (+ external IT consultants) on switchover to new inventory & accounts systems (Unleashed + Xero)- Ordering office supplies and other ad-hoc purchasing requestsFinance & bookkeeping- Entering purchase invoices into accounts software / maintaining purchase ledger- Compiling weekly lists for supplier payments- Bank reconciliations, including logging payments made & received onto accounts software- Ad hoc finance duties (working with accounts) incl. aged debtors monitoring- Filing of purchase & sales invoices, and bank statementsGeneral- Arranging deliveries and organising couriers - General office duties (including ad-hoc errands)Essential skills:- Numerate / previous financial experience - Computer literate (will be working on a Mac, but mainly cloud-based)- Articulate and a good communicator - Analytical with an excellent eye for detail- Good attitude & willing to get stuck in - Able to work independently / autonomously (but able to ask for help when needed)- Enthusiastic about working in a creative environment Beneficial:- Knowledge or interest in design- Knowledge of manufacturing processes- Prior experience of purchasing and / or procurement - Bookkeeping experience- Experience with Xero - Experience with Google suiteRole progression:We would see this role remaining in the purchasing / finance side of business administration (as opposed operational / sales functions) with potential growth into additional procurement responsibilities - working with suppliers on pricing, purchasing strategies etc.
