We are actively working on a brand new, Head of Marketing role for an internationally recognised events company based in Central London. The ideal candidate will thrive on working within a start-up environment and combine strategic thinking and strong communication skills with the creativity to execute on high-impact campaigns and processes that will scale. You will need to have a passion for data, organisation, and project management. You will have strong digital marketing and management experience and the ability to grow a customer base by driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention and reactivation. Key responsibilities include:· Identify, implement, and iterate strategies to improve user acquisition, awareness, and retention· Experiment constantly to identify and refine acquisition channels and optimised conversion funnels· Managing work flows for the team and agencies· Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness· Set near and long-term goals and measurement for the marketing department· Liaising with public relations and marketing· Collaboration with the UK commercial team on sales and UK experience team on product development· Design and review the Marketing departments budget on a monthly and quarterly basis. Allocate and monitor that budget accordingly· Resource planning and development of marketing team members· Deliver feedback on UK needs, trends and ideas to global marketing team· Tracking, reporting and analysing key marketing metrics
The ideal candidate will have the following:· Experience of marketing in a digital consumer business and building strong brands for companies for large global audiences· Experience in marketing, acquisition, brand development and multichannel concepts · Leadership and staff management· A proven track record of helping with user acquisition and company growth · Experience with a variety of analytics and email marketing · Project management experience · Critical thinking skills · Has a proven track record successfully overseeing a paid advertising budget· Experience with a variety of analytics, email marketing, project management and social platforms · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong attention to detail and able to work in a busy, fast paced environment · Experience of working on growth strategies This is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £70,000 (dependant on experience)
