Tate are working with a market leading company, operating in the OEM, automotive, engineering and technical industry sectors.
This globally successful business, based in Exeter is looking for a sales driven individual with at least 4 years experience in a OEM Design role, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment.
Your role as a Business Development Manager would be to identify, convert and manage new sales opportunities, whilst maximising existing business.
You will have a proven background in winning high revenue accounts and have both the tenacity and commercial awareness to prove effective in existing and new markets. Working both as part of a team and alone, you must be an efficient multi-tasker with the ability to manager several key accounts at the same time.
Essential skills include:
- You will be fully trained in SOLIDWORKS
- A solid understanding of the automotive industry
- Dynamic sales ability
- Have exceptional communication (verbal and written)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to design new products
- Strong relationship builder, with both team and customers
- Excellent time management
This opportunity will involve travel, a full driving licence is essential.The successful candidate with be trained to HNC level or above in Design Engineering and have OEM experience.
