Do you live locally and are fed up of the daily commute to London? Ethical global company in Lewes are looking for a Financial Controller to join their relaxed company (you must love dogs and be happy working for a company with a permanent dress down policy), up to £50k doe. This is a key role joining a close knit small team, where you will support the CFO in an exciting period of growth. Varied role to include: - Supervising the Accounts Department (a team of three) and managing all accounting processes and daily cash flows.- Completing monthly financial reporting (both internal and external) and compliance.- Managing the annual audit process (including preparation of full IFRS financial statements). - Supporting the CFO in implementing the companys financial strategy.- Identifying areas in which they can use finance to support the wider business, particularly the Sales and Logistics department.- Playing a key role in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.Soft skills required:- Excellent communication skills;- Excellent time management;- Supportive manager and team player;- Able to prioritise effectively;- Innovative and problem solver;- Commitment to high quality;- Attention to detail;- Analytical and logical thinking skills. Qualifications and experience needed:- Qualified CA with at least 2 years PQE;- Experience of working in various accounting departments/ professional practice and under IFRS accounting standards;- Experience of managing teams and reporting to company management;- Experience of accounting systems;- Microsoft office experience, particularly Microsoft Excel.This is a permanent role, £35000-£50000 in Lewes, working Monday to Friday, 9-5pm with a great bunch of friendly people, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension and a relaxed working environment.
