Business Development ManagerMain Responsibilities:· Primary focus on new business generation:o New prospectso Existing customers not actively trading (cash sales and account)· Entering new leads onto database and following lead process· Project based work, focused around specific products· Identifying customer need· Selling trial rolls to customer· Once initial product sold, handover to relevant RAM for follow up and future pricing/quotations· Researching of new leads via internet/industry publications etc.· New product promotions· Sending out samples and following up· Take sales leads from sales co-ordinators· Ensure information forwarded to RAMS for follow up· Involvement in clearance campaigns· Personal Specification:· Minimum 3 years of internal sales experience· Proven track record of meeting sales targets· Focused· Adaptable · Understands the sales process· Excellent new business skills as well as account management responsibilities· FMCG/services sector/B2B experience · Proactive· Excellent communicator· Sound listening skills· Self motivated· Good negotiator· Good long-term relationship builder· Confident· IT literate
