My client are a corporate business within the audio/ visual signage industry;Very well establishedBased in LutonSalary c£45K+ (flexible)Hours - part time; Flexible and open to ideal from potential applicantsYou must have exceptional and extensive knowledge within employment lawRolling out training to all managers and team leaders within HR policies and proceduresAttend weekly management meetingHR Manager is to support the business leadershipto harness the potential of its human resources in terms of performance, productivity, engagement, effective communication across the business, and to assist in the development of a culture of proactive, energetic, committed, innovative and inspired teams of employees.The post holder will bring to the role an extensive acumen on HR best practices, and implement and maintain a set of structured strategies that facilitate improved operational effectiveness such as performance management, objectives and KPIs,incentive planning and recognition systems geared towards the company vision.Success in the role will be reliant on a proactive, innovative, fast-paced approach to identifying areas for improvement associated with development and encouragement of employees and mentoring/supporting first line managers. Taking full ownership for employment law guidance across the business, liaising with, and coaching managers and interfacing with external solicitors on all matters Delivering and implementing strategies and systems for selecting, hiring, inducting and performance reviewing new employees Delivering and implementing strategies and systems for tracking and communicating objectives, KPIs and performance goals, and fostering a ResultsDriven culture where employees are recognized and rewarded for contribution and performance Implementing and managing training, development and succession planning activities across the business Taking a lead role to coach and mentor first line managers in effective leadership and performance management Monitoring and reporting on skills gaps, and working with managers and team leaders to address capability or KPI shortfalls via coaching, mentoring or formal training Delivering Internal Communications content and publishing across the businessExpected Core CompetenciesThe post holder must be able to demonstrate a depth of experience and capabilities in HR Management. CIPD Level 5, or at least 5 years in a management position in HR Must have demonstrable experience leading an HR function working in the private sector Must have full working knowledge of UK employment law, with overseas (European) knowledge a plus.
