  • Demand PlannerSalary - £20k (plus amazing benefits)Location - NottinghamOur amazing client are looking for a Demand Planner to join their already thriving and energetic planning team.You'll be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. You'll create and manage demand for specific product groups, incorporating statistics and other demand signals to improve service for the customers of the demand plan. Due to the demands of this prestigious position, we are looking for a dynamic and well-motivated individual. Key responsibilities include: Develop demand forecasts on a monthly basis at multiple levels of aggregation on a 12 month rolling time frame
  • Review historical sales trends, customer and marketing insights as well as promotional data, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results
  • Facilitate and manage demand planning meeting with suppliers meetings in order to deliver consistently good supply to offices in line with demand
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports
  • Work alongside stores and other support office functions to ensure activities and projects maximise sales and availability
  • Actively seek to resolve potential supply problems
  • Closely coordinate and communicate stock position into stores
  • Actively take part in store visits to evaluate stock positionJob Requirements

  • To be assertive and credible and will have the ability to guide and support managers
  • To be able to use your initiative and operate on a self-sufficient and autonomous basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and be proficient in using the internet
  • Previous experience within a demand planning role
