Tate Recruitment Agency are working in partnership with South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust and are seeking to recruit staff in the Patient Transport Services team for their contact centre based in Otterbourne. The main duties of the role include:
-To efficiently take and record incoming telephone calls requesting non-urgent ambulance transport, in accordance with the set audit procedure
-To handle all incoming telephone calls to the Contact Centre as appropriate to their nature.
-To make outgoing calls as required, efficiently passing messages using IT equipment, telephone or other means and to undertake all administrative duties as appropriate.
It is a challenging yet very rewarding role, and no shift is the same.

- able to work calmly and under pressure?
-Have good organisational & administration skills?
-Have a strong attention to detail?
-Are computer literature including in MS Office packages?
-Are keen to learn new skills and develop?
The working hours consist of 8 hour shifts working between the hours of 7am-11pm, 5 out of 7 days.
