Our client on the outskirts of Exeter is looking for a Band 6 Senior Information Analyst to join their team.
Reporting to the Information Manager and be responsible for the timely, efficient and effective expert analysis and reporting of information to the Head of Resource Management, Directors and Senior Managers.
Duties:
- To take the lead on Global Rostering System (GRS) analysis to support the business in optimising, forecasting and trending rostering patterns against demand.
- Able to understand and interpret complex sets of information, produce findings and recommendations to senior management and be persuasive when implementing the approved recommendations in the business.
- Produce monthly activity and performance reports on IM&T services to support communications and meetings to Board level and in particular in support of the ICT Programme Board and the Business Plans.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Prince II Foundation/Practitioner Qualification
SQL Qualification
Degree in IT or science/research background
Proven Analysis skills and experience of dealing with staff at all levels.
Significant experience as an Information Analyst (or equivalent) using SQL as a major part role
Extensive and regular use of SQL for reporting
SSMS, T-SQL, Microsoft Excel

Ability to interpret complex requirements and statistical information, formulate options, present findings to Trust management and then to drive through the implementation of the chosen IM&T Management Information solution to agreed timescales.
Strong analytical skills.
Design of data management systems (Databases/Data sets).
Able to travel to other sites within Trusts geographic area
