Established company in a rural location, just outside Lewes, are looking for an Administrator, salary £20-23k, dependent on experience. This is a split role where half your time will be spent assisting the finance department and the remainder assisting the property maintenance department. Due to their location, it is essential you are a car owner/driver, and you will be expected to visit other sites within their estate portfolio. Flexibility, enthusiastic nature, well presented, strong interpersonal skills, willing to learn and take the initiative, plus the ability to take on board new projects as the business dictates. Joining a small and friendly team your duties within finance will include:- Purchase ledger of a high volume of invoices on Excel and the company's bespoke database. - Assist with production, update and input of spreadsheets. - Weekly banking in Lewes (own transport required).- Filing, electronic and paper based.- Logging compliance certificates and tracking reported repairs. You will also assist the maintenance department and in particular:- Dealing with utility companies and local authority offices and change of tenancy.- Assisting with Health and Safety administration.- Liaise with tenants and builders where necessary.- Diary management and letter typing.- Produce property files and folders for renovation projects.- Assist with sign off and process sub-contractor invoices.- Sourcing and collation of drawings from utility services. - Production of budget cost reports. Majority of the time this is an office based role but due to the nature of the business you will be required to travel to other properties in their portfolio. Working within a property/facilities/health and safety/maintenance department highly desirable. Experience of working in a small office preferred, methodical, excellent accuracy, strong Excel (will be tested at interview) and the ability to prioritise, be enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour are key. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 3% contributory pension, free parking. Salary £20-23k doe, with immediate interviews.
