We are recruiting for a part qualified accountant in CIMA or ACCA, to join a FTSE 100 company based in the Chessington area. You will be an integral member of the financial accounts team, supporting and reporting to the Financial Accountant.
This is a permanent full time position with a salary of £35,000 per annum, a great benefits package and career progression.
In return we are looking for someone who can become part of a large finance team, someone who can take ownership of problems and be solutions orientated to challenge and not accept. We are looking for someone who is confident, an excellent communicator and someone who is able to ensure that core data is accurate.
Main Responsibilities:
The role will cover all aspects of financial accounts
· Coding and analysis of invoices for onward charging
· Investigate and resolve intercompany queries
· Accruals & prepayments
· Raising sales invoices and credit control
· Assisting with the month and year end process
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Costs analysis
· Treasury, FX & cash flow
· Expenses
· VAT, PSA
Experience:
You must have a proven track record and demonstrate core accounting competencies and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Confident and ambitious with excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, you must be organised and demonstrate good time management.
Personal Specification:
You will be a part qualified ACCA or CIMA who has had good exposure to month end duties and is looking to progress. You will therefore be looking for your next career move where you can add value and develop within a busy fast paced organisation. You will be extremely organised and methodical, able to multi task and demonstrate a high level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail. A quick learner, you are able to perform and excel under pressure whilst still maintaining a high standard of work. Be computer literate to an advanced level with excellent Excel and Word skills.
