I am currently recruiting for a PA to a Director based in central Eastleigh for an NHS organisation. You will be working at a senior level, providing highly confidential personal assistant and administrative support.Start Date: Monday 23rd April 2018Duration: Ongoing TemporaryPay Rate: £9.31 - £11.18 per hourLocation: Central Eastleigh Hours: 37.5 per week - 09:00am - 17:00pmKey responsibilities will include;· Ensuring the Director receives adequate and timely briefings to prepare for meetings; coordinating and preparing agendas and papers and minute taking. Efficient diary and email management.· To undertake activities to manage the recruitment and appointment process for the department from initial authorisation to appointment and induction.· Organising and planning events, conferences, team meeting, and away days as necessary, ensuring supporting information material is available and providing support on the day.· Managing and supporting the Director in all HR issues confidentially. Maintaining records of starters and leavers, sickness, appraisals, training and development activities.· Acting as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.· Undertake research to assist the Directorate, as required.· Supervising the work of the administrative assistant in day to day activities· Dealing with telephone enquiries. Take messages and draw them to the attention of the relevant person promptly.· Greeting visitors to the department in such a way that they gain a positive impression of the organisationThe successful candidate will:· Possess significant administrative and secretarial experience in a similar position· Demonstrate experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written· Excellent presentation skills; capable to delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users· Able to work under pressure in a busy working environment with the ability to multi-task· Able to work on own initiative and without supervision.· Able to work in changing situations and to tight deadlines· Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointIf you possess the required attributes and are available for the required time frame, please contact Sam on 02380 270242.
