** Pre-Construction Manager - Construction Industry **

IMMEDIATE START AND INTERVIEWS

£60k - £75k + Benefits

Surrey Based.

A leading Construction firm based in Surrey is currently recruiting for a highly experienced Pre-Construction Manager, to provide and maintain a pipeline of high quality project opportunities into the business.

Key duties will include:

Leadership:

  • Motivate and lead pre-construction team
  • Plan resources around tender work flow
  • Setting objectives for team

Driving new opportunities:

  • Maintain existing contacts and relationships to promote the business
  • Identifies new customers and build relationships
  • Tracks, reviews and respond to leads generated
  • Update project database for PQQ's, tenders and leads

Tender Development:

  • Evaluate enquiry documents
  • Provide guidance on suitable opportunities and develop winning strategy
  • Visit sites
  • Support team with understanding of tender documents and production
  • Coordinate the design and sub-contractor pricing
  • Prepare cost plans / budget guidance for customer presentation

Creating Compelling offerS:

  • Create, with support of estimating team, contractor proposals
  • Oversee, edit the production proposal content and technical responses
  • Proof read all document
  • Attend tender interviews and presentations

Post Tender:

  • Lead post tender handover meetings
  • Support team during the lead into commencement of works
  • Hold post tender meetings and evaluate customer feedback

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in differing roles and sectors
  • Understanding forms of procurement, including frameworks, design and build projects
  • Understanding of construction methods
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • MCIO/RICS Qualification would be an advantage
