My client based in Northampton is looking for patient transport advisors for their team. The main purpose of the role is to deal with requests for transport from patients and the health community, adhering to an eligibility criteria, planning and managing routine non-emergency ambulance and ambulance car service resources.
-Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of ambulance resources to provide a cost effective and efficient Patient Transport Service, dynamic planning and day control management.
-Required to plan on the day and advanced ambulance workloads
-Accurately recording bookings and filing
- Answering calls promptly as per the quality standards.
-Providing information to patients, the public and health professionals regarding the use of ambulance services.
-Ensure that office administration/documentation is maintained to an accurate level.
Current working hours are 12 hours shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am , 4 days on and 4 days off.
