Marketing Assistant- £18,000-£21,000 + Bonus Andover
The Marketing Assistant manages the entire process of maintaining the Product Information System current for locally published products and ensuring high quality and accurate data is used.
· Responding to customer queries (internal and external) in a timely and accurate manner, including online and supplement queries..
· Creating coupon codes for student and institutional purchase and customers to use when requested by sales reps.
· Managing the Sales team online resource platform and to ensure high usage from sales reps.
· Detailing and executing a promotions plan to increase sales.
· Driving the increase of coupon code usage and microsites.
· Creating coupon codes for student and institutional purchase and customers to use.
· Setting up Microsites.
· Dealing with queries about the storefront.
· Assisting with the maintenance of the company website including uploading new titles on the website regularly, keeping it fresh and accurate, as well as proactively seeking online enhancements.
· Responsibility for updating relevant sections of the intranet and communicating changes/additions etc. to the sales team.
· Preparation of sales tools and helping with the production of presentations including PowerPoints.
· Research projects into customers, products, price and competitors.
· Assisting with the production of marketing collateral and other sales and communication tools.
· Running adoption reports for the Marketing Managers to use.
· General cross-department support.
Essential Criteria
Academic Qualifications
· Educated to A level or equivalent.
Work Experience/Technical Skills
· Good PC skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
· Solid experience working within a busy and varied Administrative role.
· Experience dealing with customers, both internally and externally.
· Good numeracy and written skills.
Interpersonal Skills
· Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
· Good project management skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong grasp of grammar.
· Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
