My client is looking for an experienced researcher to join their small, but busy and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing client relationships, project delivery (design, implementation, analysis and reporting) and assisting across all facets of the business.
The role is based within the office in Reading, with regular national and occasional international travel as and when required by the business. Standard working hours are either 0900-1800 Monday-Friday with a 1 hour break for lunch. As with any research company there may be times when you are expected to work or travel outside of these hours as the business demands.
Key Requirements / Duties
·Compile, plan and implement research methodologies
·Undertake research in the field using a variety of techniques and where applicable, technologies
·Writing and managing the distribution of surveys and questionnaires
·Moderating all types of research
·Conducting qualitative or quantitative surveys, which may involve field, interview or focus group assessments
·Using statistical software to manage and organise information
·Monitor the progress of research projects
·Analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions
·Writing detailed reports and presenting results
·Advising clients or senior management on how to best use research findings
·Ability to translate client requirements into research specification and identify key opportunities
·Meeting and liaising with clients to negotiate and agree research projects
·Preparation of briefs, responses to quotation requests and tenders
·Preparation and delivery of presentations to clients
·Starting salary from £25,000 depending on experience
·28 days leave, plus 5 Bank Holidays and an additional break at Christmas which is not taken from annual entitlement
